Description
70% of the Chardonnay and Malagouzia were fermented separately and remained for 6 months in stainless steel tanks while the remaining 30% was fermented and matured for 6 months in French oak barrels.
It has a clear, bright lemon colour with green highlights. On the nose it is healthy, clean with aromas of peach, melon, green apple and tropical fruits such as pineapple. On the palate it is dry, rich and balanced with crisp acidity and aromas of butter, vanilla and baked bread. The aftertaste is characterized by complexity and long duration.
It is served at 10-12°C and is excellent with roast pork, poultry such as chicken with white sauce, pasta with creamy sauces, smoked cheeses such as mezzovone, crayfish and rich fish such as salmon with vegetables in a butter and wine sauce.
