SKOURAS FLEVA

It has an intense – dark red almost opaque colour with violet hues. Complex aromas on the nose, with blackberry, plum, cherry and sweet black forest fruits making their appearance. The bouquet is also composed of liquorice, black pepper, cloves, bay leaf, tobacco and hints of bitter chocolate, blended harmoniously with plant and animal aromas. In the mouth it is exuberant, quite warm thanks to the high alcohol, with ripe and quite gentle tannins, full body and moderate acidity. The “flavor” in the mouth acquires intensity and duration with fruity characteristics and sweet and spicy flavor, especially in the very long aftertaste.

The wine is capable of aging magnificently for at least the next 6 years. Pair it beautifully with strong grilled red meats. Try it with grilled red tuna fillet, risotto with truffle and sautéed mushrooms or vegetable salad with mature goat cheese.
