SKOURAS SYNOROS

On the nose, the first aromas of ripe fruits such as blackberry, black cherries, cassis, strawberry along with sweet notes of chocolate emerge. There are also aromas of sweet spices, with vanilla, cinnamon and cedar being the most predominant.
As soon as the lips touch the wine, you directly perceive the dry, very warm and rich body of the wine with accentuated but balanced acidity and dense and velvety tannins. The second sip will lift you up as the aromas of the mouth fill you with a fruity and sweet pleasure that continues in the long lasting aftertaste.
It is an excellent label with thirteen months of aging in second use and new French oak barrels and an additional six months in bottle for winter and festive dishes. Combine it with pork stew with rich sauce, wild boar stew and grilled meats.
